Isn’t all Christianity exploitative? That would be the view of many who’ve never had contact with this curious religion but as one who’s been on the inside, I can definitively say there are bright sides and darker sides to Christianity. Ahhhhh prophets of profit
First clip – no gospel. Second clip – no gospel.
Spiritual dumbness hasn’t changed, just the packaging.
“The unique experiences of my journey have taught me a significant amount about what makes great non-for profits truly special, and as a result, the critical lessons big businesses can learn from them, about how to build a movement and not just a company.” – Paul Andrew (0:35)
To me personally, Paul as a speaker, seems somehow insecure as he delivers. Anyone else picking that up?
He’s so self promoting to the point that he comes across quite desperate. In this self promotion video, he seems to have made a sweet deal in scratching Brown’s back as Brown scratches his.
His Hillsong salary obviously wasn’t quite cutting it.
At least he can now afford a semi-decent haircut.
I know a few pastors like him. They like to think of themselves as motivational speakers and big business people. They can’t make it in the real world so the majority of their business comes from their church connections.
The business experience he boasts about on his site is no more than his experience at Hillsong Conference as a pastor and the testimonials on his site are from Hillsong members. Yet he says he is “sought after”
For all his hot air about his experience leading volunteers and the like, if his new “corporate” audiences knew what his background really was, I don’t think they’d want him at all. But then again, any clientele he could possibly attract are probably just Hillsong sycophants anyway.
He still needs a decent haircut!
